The O Family
The love between a brother and a sister is something I wish everyone could experience. These two definitely have the typical love-hate relationship at this age. They are without a doubt, two children that are loved so much by their amazing parents. This session makes my heart smile thinking about how much they have all grown over this last year.
Blessed to capture sibling love!

Of course she is a teacher's child and knows the importance of my favorite book!
Details my dear!
I laugh now but this morning at 5 am, I didn't see the humor. As a mother of toddlers, hold 2 different jobs and one just happens to be a photographer, I am also not known for my great organization skills-as you can see from my cabinets.
My husband woke up using what I call his "I.S.S." (In School Suspension) coach voice. "Why is your lens in the kitchen cabinet? That is an accident just waiting to happen." My first thought of course was, am I that exhausted that I left it in the kitchen? I left my nice perfect bed to see what he was talking about...there was a lens all right...my coffee cup that looks like a lens! Silly goose!
At least I know he is looking out for me!

Bear Hug Picture Time
Today as I took advantage of a day off, I realized it is so easy to get wrapped up in work and forget to sit back, laugh and live to the fullest. So as the summer quickly approaches, I make a vow to stop, play on the slip and slide with my children more and never, ever be afraid to get a little dirty while making memories!
Photo Tip of the Weekend:
How did I get this picture? IF you do not know my 2 and 4 year old, then you would think they are just cute loving brother and sisters...right? You might be able to get pictures that way but I always say give your sibling a "bear hug" and a "tickle monster" when I want them to pose. NEVER, ever say those horrible words like "say cheese" or "smile please".
Also because it is super sunny here in Texas, I always put up my pop up umbrella off to the side of where we are going to "play"....yes it is all about thinking 2 steps ahead of toddlers!
