Be still

This little lady reminds me daily of the greatest life lessons. Today she reminded, "Be still". Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of life, we forget what is most important. I know I cannot be the only one guilty of this.

Take time to savor the moment, take time to truly live in the moment. Put your cell phone down, don't worry about capturing the next moment, take time to be in the moment. As I am learning, sometimes the memories and the mental pictures taken in my head are so vibrant and perfect compared to me begging for her to smile and please look at the camera.

"Be still and know that I am God" Psalm 46:10

Avery, 12 days old

Meet this precious little lady, Ms. Avery Elizabeth
She is clothed in strength & dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. Proverbs 31:25

McNeice Family, Hockley, Texas

One of my resolutions for this year is to post more on my blog. Yikes, I know it is February and I am just starting this, but you must start somewhere.
This was one of my first sessions for 2015 and I have to say it was an amazing way to start the year!
This amazing family of 4 is so full of God's grace and love it is contagious.  One thing that I love most is that despite their girls have graduated from college and live on both coasts, they take time to truly enjoy each other.

How does she do it?

When things get a little stressful, I listen to my Pandora station, Princess things. Yes it was originally  created for my 4 year old's birthday party...yet now I listen to it all the time.

It's the little things that change perspective! Try it!

Siblings Photo Session

Location: Montgomery, Texas
I always have thought  having a brother is better than having a superhero. These 2 definitely believe the same thought. 4 and 6 years old: a challenge in itself but their bond...priceless!
