Precious Baby K, Magnolia Texas Shoot

Meet Miss K. She is a fighter and such a testament of her family's faith and determination. In this session, my heart was warmed by her mother's love and dedication to do whatever it takes to make her sweet, beautiful daughter's life the best. She definitely went against all odds and has already been through so much in the first 2 months of life. I am so blessed to be able to watch her journey and capture this miracle from God.

I love spring and I love being an Aggies. So when both combine, it is like a piece of heaven for me. My best friend from 5th grade asked for some pictures of her 2 little Aggie boys and I knew the perfect place!

Sweet little man was so calm and sleepy...perfect newborn conditions. I also always wonder why 2nd born babies are so much easier to shoot! He had such personality in his sweet little face. 

Be still

This little lady reminds me daily of the greatest life lessons. Today she reminded, "Be still". Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of life, we forget what is most important. I know I cannot be the only one guilty of this. 

Take time to savor the moment, take time to truly live in the moment. Put your cell phone down, don't worry about capturing the next moment, take time to be in the moment. As I am learning, sometimes the memories and the mental pictures taken in my head are so vibrant and perfect compared to me begging for her to smile and please look at the camera.

One of my resolutions for this year is to post more on my blog. Yikes, I know it is February and I am just starting this, but you must start somewhere.
This was one of my first sessions for 2015 and I have to say it was an amazing way to start the year!
This amazing family of 4 is so full of God's grace and love it is contagious.  One thing that I love most is that despite their girls have graduated from college and live on both coasts, they take time to truly enjoy each other.
